Artist's Statement
Feld works with everyday materials to create forms that reflect resilience, adaptation, and the contradictions of belonging. These pieces turn scraps and provisional structures into markers of thresholds and boundaries. Color and pattern bring hints of celebration while also pointing to survival and “making do.” Together, they explore how humble objects, often tied to movement and displacement, can be reimagined as fragile yet purposeful reflections of community and shared space.
